How CBC handles personal data
This policy explains how CBC uses personal data for website visits, purchases, member access, support and optional email updates.
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Who is responsible for your information
CBC, CVR 46409558, Kildemarksvej 26, 1. 13, 4700 Næstved, Denmark is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Contact CBC at Contact@cbccrypto.com.
Information we collect
- Identity and contact data, including name and email address
- Account, purchase, subscription, invoice and payment status data
- Course progress, access records and community participation
- Messages, support requests, complaints and consent records
- Device, security, cookie and usage data where permitted
CBC receives information directly from you and from Whop, our checkout and member-access platform, when they operate the checkout, account, payment and product access systems.
Why we use your information and our legal basis
- Contract: handling purchase enquiries, payment, access, subscriptions and customer support (GDPR Article 6(1)(b))
- Legal obligation: accounting, tax and other mandatory records (Article 6(1)(c))
- Legitimate interests: account security, fraud prevention, handling claims and proportionate service improvements, balanced against your rights (Article 6(1)(f))
- Consent: optional marketing emails and optional analytics (Article 6(1)(a))
Email updates and support
Newsletter signup is optional. CBC uses your email address to send the education, research updates and product announcements described at signup. A purchase or support enquiry is not newsletter consent. Unsubscribe using the link in an email or contact CBC directly. Necessary account and purchase messages are separate from marketing.
Purchase and access information is needed to deliver the service; without it CBC may be unable to fulfil your order. For support, share only what is needed to explain the problem. Never send passwords, wallet recovery phrases, private keys or full payment-card details.
Who we share information with
CBC may share necessary data with Whop, payment providers, hosting providers, email and customer support providers, professional advisers and public authorities where legally required. Providers may only use the data for the agreed service or their separately disclosed legal responsibilities.
When information is processed outside Europe
Some providers may process data outside Denmark or the European Economic Area. CBC will use a lawful transfer mechanism where required, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. Contact CBC for information about the safeguard relevant to your data.
How long we keep information
CBC keeps personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose collected. Purchase, invoice and accounting records are retained for the period required by Danish law. Contract and complaint records may be retained while a claim can lawfully be brought. Marketing data is removed or suppressed when consent is withdrawn, subject to a minimal record needed to honour the request.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact Contact@cbccrypto.com to exercise a right. CBC may need to verify your identity.
You may complain to Datatilsynet. You can also contact CBC so the concern can be investigated; doing so is not a condition of your right to complain to the supervisory authority.
Cookies and marketing
Optional cookies and analytics are used only according to the Cookie Policy and your consent choice. Marketing email consent is separate from a purchase and can be withdrawn through the message or by contacting CBC.
